Fragment 176-191—also referred to as HGH (176-191)—is a peptide composed of the final 16 amino acids of human growth hormone (hGH), often modified with a tyrosine substitution at the N-terminus for enhanced stability. In animal studies, it has demonstrated selective fat-burning activity through the activation of beta-3 adrenergic receptors, increased cellular lipolysis, and the possible induction of thermogenesis, all without eliciting the broader endocrine effects typically associated with full-length hGH.
